Hello! My name is Rob Ouweleen. I’m 32 years old and have been living in Fullerton California most of my life. I currently am working as a Chain Sales Representative in the alcohol business for a company called Breakthru Beverage. While being in this industry I’ve learned it’s about being myself around people to gain their respect and trust in this line of work.

How I found myself here in this profession was I had worked my way up over the years starting in retail as a courtesy clerk for Stater Bros back in 2008. I then developed merchandising experience by working as a GMC clerk and eventually moved on to a separate company called Nabisco in 2014 as a merchandiser. As the years went by working for this company I discovered a way of talking to people while out on the sales floor merchandising and was able to maintain great relationships.

This eventually moved me into sales where I currently am in my role now. I had left Nabisco back in 2018 and found my current company staring out again as a merchandiser. By proving my sales strengths I had gained through observation and experience merchandising  from the previous jobs, I had then moved up into sales in 2022. Going forward my hope is to grow professionally within myself and maintain my goals in the alcoholic beverage  industry.

Though sales might not be my long term career, I’m hoping to connect with more people be open to bigger opportunities and also gain more experience social networking activities. I can say that Im achiever when I put my mind to it. That I  believe that the only way to strive for what you want is to just go for it and that will make great things happen in the near future.
